Blizzard Bag 2

Happy Snow Day 2!
When we left for break, we were finishing up our study of eastern empires in the Early Modern Era (1450-1750). You watched the film, The Story of China, about the Ming Dynasty and for homework over vacation you had the short podcast on the Ming Banknote to listen to. For you blizzard bag, I have linked an info-graphic for you to work on. Remember, these info-graphics are your way to study and review material in preparation for a quiz. Be ready for a quiz on Wednesday.
Materials: textbook, powerpoints, study guide, handouts, colored pencils
Note: We will also have a little time to work on these in class on Tuesday. You should spend a solid 90 minutes working on this.

Virtual Tour of the Old City of Jerusalem
For your capstone project on the Monotheistic religions of the Mediterranean, you will be creating a scrapbook of the Old City of Jerusalem. In this scrapbook you will investigate and research the holy sites of Judaism, Christianity and Islam that are all contained within this location. Use this virtual tour to acquaint yourself with the different areas, geography, people and sights of modern Jerusalem. Pay special attention to the historical landmarks that you will be researching for your scrapbook: The Western Wall, The Dome of the Rock, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and The Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
